The Hidden Lamp brings together for the first time in one place traditional and modern stories and koans about Buddhist women and their wisdom teachings. Each of the 100 stories has a commentary by a different modern Buddhist teacher, including Sylvia Boorstein, Natalie Goldberg, and Joan Halifax.
